Totally get it. I woke up feeling the same way. It's just one of those recharge days.

I hear you about comfy sweaters and boots. Though I am a New Yorker, I lived in San Diego (Poway) for 27 years and I missed those things too. Despite nobody wanting to believe it, San Diego has its moments of 30 degree days. Since moving back to NYC in 2001 - dealing with the horrendous humidity and the freezing winters - I suggest you take a vacation somewhere cold and get it out of your system. Or come to NYC for October - Fall is the best time of year. We'll meet for tea.

LOL it would probably take less than 24 hours for me to say, "I'm done with this freezing day now." Meeting for tea would be lovely!

I don't know if you ski, but I always did a long weekend in Mammoth -- even if you don't ski the town is cute. I always loved driving up to Julian for a day during the winter - they have snow, a cute homey town, fun shops, and the best apple pie and hot cider anywhere.

Done! The next time you're in NYC, let me know.

I know exactly how you feel. Some days it takes everything to just get the motor running..

Okay, weird synchronicity. I wrote in an Instagram post today about feeling limitless. I woke up in a foul mood ( painters yapping beneath my window at 7 am) and this thought came out of nowhere. I'm still grumpy but I know now that it will pass. Hugs.

Haha, I love this! I read it expected a twist where you jump to being hugely productive and it was so refreshing and lovely to read that instead you leant into your winter urge to rest. Time to make a nest on the sofa and lay like broccoli!
